Sugar Rush 1000 slot: the cells that double all round
Win on the same cell twice and it starts carrying a multiplier; win on it again and that multiplier doubles, and the ceiling for one cell sits just above the number in the title. On the 7x7 grid that turns free spins into a board you paint square by square. RTP 96.00%, high volatility, 25000x maximum. The Sugar Rush 1000 demo runs above on play money, and at Vavada the slot counts toward the Pragmatic Play free spins race.

Clusters, cells and the two wins that make a multiplier
A win here is a group of candy touching side by side, five pieces or more, anywhere on the grid. The group pays, disappears, new candy falls, and the cascade keeps going while fresh groups keep forming. What makes the game its own thing is what stays behind on the board.
- Clusters: five or more identical sweets joined horizontally or vertically. Diagonal neighbors do not count, which is why a screen that looks full can still pay nothing.
- Marked cells: the first win on a square only stains it. The second win on the same square puts a multiplier there, and every further win on it doubles that multiplier.
- Base game memory: stains and multipliers live until the cascade sequence ends, then the board is wiped clean.
- Scatters: three of them open free spins, and more scatters mean a longer round. Scatters inside the round extend it on the same scale.
- Two buy buttons: the ordinary purchase opens a normal round, and the expensive one starts the round with multipliers already scattered across the board.
The difference between the base game and the bonus is one line in the rules: in free spins the multipliers stay on the board until the round ends. Everything that makes this game worth an evening follows from that one line.
Free spins: the board fills, then it gets harvested
A round has two halves, and the game never tells you which one you are in. In the first half the clusters are painting cells: stains turn into multipliers, multipliers double, and the payouts are small because the numbers are still low. In the second half a cluster lands across several charged cells, their values are added together, and the sum multiplies that cluster's win. A round that dies early leaves you with a beautiful board and nothing on the balance.
That is why extra scatters matter more here than in most slots. Every added spin arrives when the cells are already charged, so the late spins in a round are worth several of the early ones. It also explains the two prices on the buy menu. The soundtrack speeds up as the board fills, which I assume is deliberate and which I resent a little, because it works on me every time.
| How you get into the round | What you pay | What you start with | My take |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wait for three scatters | Only the spins you feed the base game | An empty board and a short round | Cheapest route, longest wait, and the wait is mostly quiet |
| Ordinary purchase | Around a hundred bets | An empty board, no waiting | Buys time and skips nothing else |
| Super purchase | Several times the ordinary price | A board with multipliers already placed | The only way to skip the painting half and go straight to harvest |
My best board in this game came from a super purchase, and my worst one did too. In the good round the clusters kept falling across the same charged column until the numbers on it looked absurd. In the bad round, four spins in a row landed clusters in the two corners the multipliers had missed, and the round closed with a fully loaded middle that nothing ever touched. Same price, same math, opposite evenings.
Why the 1000 version and not the first Sugar Rush
The original Sugar Rush runs on the same grid with the same stained cells. Pragmatic Play moved one number and let the rest follow: the cap on a single cell multiplier went up by a large factor, the ceiling rose with it, and the declared return came down to pay for both. Symbols and scatter rules stayed untouched.
So the choice is honest and narrow. The original gives a slightly friendlier average and smaller peaks. This version gives the peaks and charges you for them on every spin.
Note. At Vavada the Pragmatic Play free spins race takes twenty five slots from the studio, and at the time of checking this one was on the list. The original Sugar Rush is not in the first forty of the Hit tab, so the version you are reading about is the one that scores.
RTP 96.00%: the price of a bigger cell
The declared return is 96.00%, lower than the Bonanza grids standing next to it in the Hit tab, and the volatility is high. Those two values are the invoice for the raised multiplier cap: the studio moved return out of the base game and into the tail.
In a session it shows up as a base game that barely pays. Clusters land often enough to keep the board busy, stains rarely survive long enough to become multipliers, and the balance walks down in a straight line between rounds. Then a round arrives and the line either jumps or stays flat.
The ceiling of 25000x needs a board full of heavily doubled cells and one big cluster landing on top of them at the end. It sits in the paytable as the boundary of the math, and budgeting for it is a mistake. Budget for the round that paints half the board and runs out of spins.
Before you press the expensive button
What does the super purchase actually buy?
A starting board with multipliers already placed on it, for several times the price of the ordinary purchase. It skips the painting half of the round and drops you into the harvest half. What it cannot buy is a cluster landing on the charged cells, and plenty of loaded boards finish untouched.
Do the multipliers stay on the board outside free spins?
No. In the base game stains and multipliers live only until the cascade sequence ends, then the board is wiped. Keeping them for the whole round is the one rule that separates free spins from ordinary spins here, and it is where the money of this game sits.
Do both buy buttons work on play money?
They do. The ordinary purchase and the expensive one are both open in the demo above, which is the reason to spend time in it: the painted board costs nothing there. Cluster frequency, the doubling rule and the scatter scale are the funded ones.
What status do I need for the Pragmatic Play race?
Silver, which asks for 4 000 USD of bets inside a month. The race pays 20 000 USD across the table, with 3 500, 2 000 and 1 000 USD for the first three places, and twenty five slots from the studio count toward it.
Sugar Rush 1000 demo: watch ten rounds before you deposit
Both buy buttons work in the Sugar Rush 1000 demo above, which is the whole reason to spend time in it: the expensive route to a painted board costs nothing here. Cluster frequency, the doubling rule and the scatter scale are the funded ones, and play money is the only difference.
There is one thing worth measuring in it, and it takes about twenty minutes. Open ten rounds and count how many of them reached the harvest half. Whatever that count turns out to be, it tells you more about this slot than any Sugar Rush 1000 slot review can, including this one.
What a deposit buys you here: free spins, x35 and a race
On a deposit the game opens from the Hit tab after login, and three parts of the Vavada package touch it directly.
| What you get | The condition | How it works out on this grid | My take |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 free spins after registration | Minimum bet, any slots, winnings wagered x20 | A hundred minimum bets is base game money, enough to see stains appear and vanish | Take them first and keep your deposit for the buy menu |
| 100% on the first deposit | Wagering x35, slots only; a bonus bet in live, crash or sports kills the bonus | Cluster spins clear wagering at the same rate as any slot | Fine for ordinary spins; bonus money and the super purchase are a bad pair |
| Pragmatic Play free spins race, 20 000 USD | From the Silver status, which needs 4 000 USD of bets in a month; twenty five studio slots count | Every free spins round you open here scores points | A target for your second month, once the status is there |
The race pays 3 500, 2 000 and 1 000 USD for the first three places, and the current schedule lives on the tournaments page. How the x35 wagering is counted, and what the rules leave unsaid about feature buys, is on the bonus page.
Two habits that empty a balance here
Only a win paints a cell on this board, and a cell has to be won on twice before it carries a multiplier at all, so the single thing you control here is whether the round lives long enough to harvest what it painted. Bet size and the moment you stop are the levers. No sequence of bets moves a cluster, whatever the video that sent you here promised. Two habits, though, do change how long your money lasts.
The first is buying the super round at a bet the balance cannot repeat. One loaded board that never gets touched is a normal outcome here, and a player who can only afford one of them has bought a single lottery ticket at a bad price. The second is sitting in the base game waiting for a stained cell to grow. Stains die with the cascade, the board resets, and the patience you spent on it bought nothing at all.
Super Scatter or the candy bombs: where to go next
Sugar Rush Super Scatter keeps the cluster board and changes the way in: a special scatter opens the round more readily, and the ceiling is higher than here. Take it when the wait for three scatters is the part that annoys you. Sweet Bonanza 1000 is the opposite temperament from the same studio: multipliers fall as bombs during free spins and vanish after each sequence, so every spin is its own lottery and nothing accumulates. The rest of the shelf is in the Hit tab.
Worth an evening, or worth a demo?
- What works
- Multipliers stay on the board for the whole round, so progress is visible spin by spin.
- Ceiling 25000x with a single cell cap just above the number in the title.
- The super purchase starts the round already painted, which no neighbor on this grid offers.
- Counts toward the Pragmatic Play race for 20 000 USD at Vavada.
- What to keep in mind
- RTP 96.00% sits below the Bonanza grids in the same tab, and the base game is where you feel it.
- The super purchase costs several ordinary ones, and a loaded board can still finish untouched.
- Plenty of rounds end in the painting half: a pretty board and a flat balance.
If you like watching a position build, this game gives you something almost nothing else in the tab does: a round where you can see the progress before the payout. If you want your money to move every few minutes, the base game will bore you and then take your stake. I have screenshots of boards from this slot that I keep for the same reason people keep photos of fish they caught. The ones that got away are not in the folder.
