Spots that remember the last win

Clusters of five or more matching candies pay and vanish, and the cells they occupied get a multiplier spot. In the base game the spots reset after the cascade sequence ends; inside free spins they stay for the whole round. A spot that is hit again doubles, so a cell in the middle of the grid that keeps landing in clusters climbs quickly, and the 1000 version lets it climb far higher than the original before it caps. The 25000x ceiling is what a grid of high spots hit by a big cluster looks like.

The free spins

Scatters open the bonus, and retriggers add spins. Because the spots persist, the round is a slow build: the first spins lay spots, the middle spins double them, the last spins are where the money is. A round that ends before the spots mature pays little, which is the mechanism behind the high volatility.
