The mechanic in one paragraph

The book substitutes for every symbol and pays as a scatter. Three books award free spins, and before they start the game selects one symbol at random to expand: when enough copies of it land during the round, they stretch across their reels and pay on all lines regardless of position. If the chosen symbol is Rich Wilde himself, the round can hit the maximum of 5000x; if it is a card value, the round pays little even when it expands.
