Gates of Olympus Super Scatter slot: free spins from one symbol

A single Super Scatter symbol anywhere on the reels starts the free spins, and in this edition that symbol is the main door into the bonus. The rest of the game runs the way the series always has: tumbling wins across the 6x5 pay anywhere grid, Zeus orbs that add up at the end of a sequence, RTP 96.5%, high volatility and a ceiling of 50000x. The demo below opens with no account, and the buy button inside it has a cheap door and an expensive one.

One Super Scatter symbol, and the round is open

If you have played the original, you can skim the list below: the base game is untouched. Symbols pay from any cells of the 6x5 grid, winners explode, new symbols fall into the holes, and Zeus drops multiplier orbs that mean nothing until the tumbling stops and they add together. The trigger is the new part. Next to the usual scatters the reels carry a Super Scatter symbol, and one of those is enough to start the free spins. The old door through four scatters still works, so the round has two entrances. Thin rounds come with the deal: the counter needs several orbs before a round means anything.

  • Grid 6x5, pay anywhere: eight or more matching symbols in any cells pay, then the tumble refills the grid.
  • Zeus orbs land at any moment, add up at the end of a sequence and multiply everything that sequence collected.
  • Super Scatter symbol: one anywhere on the grid opens the free spins, and inside the round it hands out extra spins.
  • Four ordinary scatters: the second entrance to the same round; three of them inside it extend the round.
  • Buy button: the ordinary free spins for a hundred bets, the expensive version with the small orbs removed for five hundred.

Where 50000x hides: a total that survives the whole round

Orbs stop resetting the moment the free spins begin. Each one that lands inside a winning sequence drops into a shared total, and the total multiplies every sequence until the round ends. An orb that arrives on spin one is worth several times the same orb on the last spin, which is why a round that starts with a big value feels settled before it is half over. The 50000x ceiling belongs to a round where the total reached the hundreds, the Super Scatter kept adding spins, and a screen of crowns landed while all of it was still running. A round with no orbs usually hands back a little over the stake.

RTP 96.5% survived the new trigger; the smooth ride did not

RTP 96.5% answers the first question people ask about a Super Scatter edition: whether the studio paid for the frequent bonus out of the return. It did not. The payment came out of evenness. Volatility here is high, and it shows up as a seesaw: the bonus arrives far sooner than in the first Gates of Olympus, and plenty of those rounds end with two small orbs and a payout that barely covers the spins you waited through.

Price of entry, in plain figures: a spin runs 0.20-36 USD, the plain buy asks a hundred spins at whatever you have set, and the stripped version - the one that keeps the small orbs off the reels altogether - asks five hundred of them. On a twenty cent stake that is twenty dollars against a hundred for the same round with the clutter removed.

I gave an evening in the demo to putting those two prices side by side at one stake, a plain round and then an expensive one, over and over. The expensive rounds did look tidier, with no two-bet orbs taking up space on the screen, and a good few of them still finished under what they had cost to open. The higher price buys a cleaner reel set. It does not buy a calmer round.

So the profile picks its reader. If what you want from an evening is the bonus itself - the trigger landing, the counter starting to build - this version hands it over more often than anything else running the Zeus engine. If you want the bonus to pay for the evening, look at how thin an average round is before you choose a stake: the requirement here is a bankroll that shrugs off a run of bought rounds ending under their own price, and across that range the argument runs toward the low end of the dial.

Four scatters or one symbol: picking between the two Gates

In Gates of Olympus 1000 the number in the title is the size of the biggest orb, the ceiling sits more than three times lower than here, and only four scatters open the round. This version moves the trigger closer and lifts the ceiling. The choice comes down to temperament: wait longer for one enormous orb, or collect free spins every session and accept that many of them decide nothing. The declared RTP is the same in both, so the version costs you nothing either way.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter demo above, then the Hit tab at Vavada

The window above is the Pragmatic Play launcher, no account required, and the numbers inside are the live ones: RTP 96.5%, the same orbs, both buy prices working. The balance is the only fake thing in there. A hundred spins in that window answer what no review can answer for you: how often the Super Scatter turns up at your stake, on your evening. It is also where the chat theories about buying after a dry streak go to die, because the generator keeps no memory of the previous spin.

At Vavada the card stands in the Hit tab, and the starting package is built for slots: 100 free spins for a new account with no deposit and x20 wagering in any slots, a first deposit bonus wagered x35 in slots only, 10% cashback on the first day of each month. Stakes of any size push your status along, and Silver is the door to the Pragmatic Play free spins tournament: 20 000 USD spread over a shortlist of 25 games from the studio, the shortlist itself printed on the tournament card. The scoring rules live on the Vavada tournaments page, the bonus conditions on the bonuses page.

  1. Open an account

Phone or email, a password and the account currency: how it looks from a phone. The registration free spins appear in the Bonuses tab.

  2. Open the Hit tab and read the tile

Two Gates of Olympus cards live on that shelf and only one of them is the Super Scatter edition, so check the name before you press play.

  3. Decide about the bonus before the first deposit

The doubling wagers x35 in slots only, and the switch for it sits in your profile; a withdrawal request with wagering unfinished wipes it along with the winnings.

Note. The cheapest hour you can spend on this game is a hundred demo spins at one stake, counting how many Super Scatters land. That count is yours, and it beats any number a streamer shows you.

The same trigger, moved to a candy grid

The Super Scatter idea also runs on clusters: Sugar Rush Super Scatter pays groups of touching candies on a wider grid, and its multipliers sit on the cells as spots that double when a cluster hits them again. Take the candies if you like watching a multiplier grow in one place. Stay with Zeus if you prefer wins from any cells and one big total at the end of a sequence. The whole shelf is in the Hit tab.

Worth swapping the original for this one?

Every Gates of Olympus Super Scatter slot review starts from the trigger. This is what the trigger buys, and what it charges for the privilege.

  • What works
  • One symbol opens the free spins, and a hundred demo spins are enough to see how often that happens.
  • Ceiling 50000x at the same declared RTP as the first Gates of Olympus: the version carries no surcharge.
  • The multiplier total holds for the whole round, and a Super Scatter inside the round makes that round longer.
  • Two buy prices give a cheap entry and an expensive one with the small orbs stripped out.
  • What to keep in mind
  • The spread pays for the frequent bonus over a very long run; in one evening you are likelier to see a dozen thin rounds in a row.
  • With a live Super Scatter on the reels, the old four scatter door almost never opens, and a round entered through it looks the same as any other.

Counted in bonuses per evening, this version wins easily. Then count what those bonuses gave back, and the picture flattens out. Both cards stand side by side in the Hit tab with a free demo each: spend a hundred spins in both windows at the same stake, and take the one whose rhythm you can sit through.
