A game with nothing to explain
The symbols are the jester, his hat, a lyre, jewels and the usual card values; the jester pays the most. Wins are five matching symbols on a line, three at minimum, and the lines are fixed. That is the entire rulebook. There is no wild to substitute and no scatter to trigger anything, and the studio has never added them in the years since release: the game sells on being the slot you can explain to someone in one sentence.
Why the paytable matters more than usual
With no bonus round, the whole return is in the line pays, so the top of the paytable is steep. Five jesters pay the maximum of 1040x, five of the next symbol pays a fraction of that, and the card values pay back a little more than the bet. The RTP of 96.50% is average for the tab; the volatility feels moderate because dead spins are common but the mid-range wins arrive regularly. The game is at its best at a bet that lets a jester screen matter without making the dead spins hurt.
